MOTHER DIVINE
"As has been already said, we have seen great changes since the Righteous Government Platform was endorsed by FATHER DIVINE after it had been prepared at the Righteous Government Convention in New York City. So I really give Honor to FATHER for the spirit of having these important American Principles which were lacking in our Democracy. We really are so indebted to FATHER. HE really put His Spirit in the masses and HE established a Righteous Government in millions of people and HE certainly did give us a Standard of what is right and what is wrong.
FATHER DIVINE certainly did articulate what it means to be American and HE certainly brought into fruition the Constitution of the United States and its Declaration of Independence. These are the laws that are in common to all who claim to be citizens of the United States and we cherish the privilege to serve GOD according to the dictates of our own conscience, and everyone can have that and you must have this freedom so all can unite on what the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence calls for. It is very much in the minds of everyone that we are on the threshold of the Millennium Year and so all think of what FATHER DIVINE said. HE came fifty years ahead of time, and ahead of time means this is the time before the year 2000. And there have been many prophecies about this year this time but FATHER DIVINE made it plain that it would not necessarily be the end of the world but it would mean the destruction that man brought here upon himself through disobedience to the Law of GOD, and of course, it would be in evidence with the cosmic forces of nature, because everyone in harmony with the cosmic forces of nature you would be in harmony with GOD!
So that 96th Psalm which was read earlier was so appropriate, concerning when man brings himself into subjection to the Law of GOD because Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light. These laws have been here but they have not been completely understood, but it took FATHER DIVINE to come and make them plain; that it means to live the Life of CHRIST and to let this Mind be in you that was also in CHRIST JESUS that we all might be free of the curse on mankind until they are redeemed."
