"Peace FATHER DIVINE and Peace to all of the participants in this Glorious Celebration of FATHER DIVINE'S and My 50th Wedding Anniversary.
"We are pleased to be here at the Circle Mission Church on the eve of
the 50th Anniversary because it was here that FATHER and I were personally
residing at that time and it was from here that We stole away in the wee hours
of the morning, which was six o'clock in the morning, we left from here. It
was raining, as the song says, and We motored to Washington D.C. where We had
an appointment with Reverend Albert E. Shadd, to be Married at 1945 Bennet
Place in Washington, D.C. and from there, after the marriage, We went to Baltimore
where we had lunch; and it was from there that FATHER called back here to the
Circle Mission Church and let His Immediate Staff know that He had Married
.....again. FATHER Married Peninnah Divine in 1882 and She had wanted to come
back again
in a Rosebud's body and She thought She could be of more service
to FATHER.
"It seemed to be a Divine Plan because it was important that this Marriage demonstrate the interraciality apparently and the internationality, not only of the Peace Mission, but of all humankind. FATHER DIVINE'S Marriage to Me is a Spiritual Marriage and it is based on the Conviction that "I know that FATHER DIVINE is GOD!" and FATHER DIVINE married all of those with that same conviction!
"And as the years have gone by, that Marriage has meant more and more to all those who are consecrated and dedicated to the Work and Mission of FATHER DIVINE, for we really do believe that this is what can bring about not only World Peace but the fulfillment of mankind's desire to live on earth in Heaven with GOD as Jesus taught us to pray to let the Kingdom come. So this is a joyous occasion because it is a Jubilee Year and Jubilee means Fulfillment and yet it means New Beginnings and looking forward to the next fifty years! We will now hear the Scriptural references that speak of the Marriage of the Lamb and the Bride."
Revelation|19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Revelation|19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Revelation|22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
