"I just wish to mention something that happened a few years ago. I was working in the Department of Public Welfare, and every day I took care of from one hundred to one hundred and twenty-five cases of people. We were making up an index of the maintenance's of every case and I am sure I ran across some two to three thousand cases of people who returned money they had taken in various ways. Sometimes the sums were not so small either; money they had taken that belonged to people and they could not find the people again, so they turned it into the Department of Public Welfare and asked that it be given to charity, or sums of money they had received for aid previously. I am sure I ran across in the two or three years I was there over two thousand cases; and they said that they were true followers of FATHER DIVINE and if it was not for FATHER DIVINE they would not have done it. I never thought the day would come when I could speak of it to YOU. I just did not know what to think when I read about these remarkable cases; and I thank YOU, FATHER!"
