"Peace, everyone! I think I told you outside that I came here not quite a year ago and I was so deeply moved and impressed that I just told every one of my friends, and tonight when I came back, FATHER DIVINE, I brought fourteen of my friends with me. Mr. Lamb called me the advertising manager of Sheffield Farms. In reality I work in the laboratory where we go to great pains to produce the very purest and most wholesome of milk. Now, I feel there is quite a close relationship between a healthy body and a healthy mind and soul, and I am pretty sure that after the Banquet tonight, FATHER DIVINE and HIS Followers believe the same thing. It has been a very great privilege to be here again tonight and bring my friends with me. I know they have been just as greatly moved and impressed as I have been, and as I said before, when I look around and see that not one of you is on relief, it just makes you feel that you are proud to be an American again. I wish to express my very deep and sincere appreciation to each and every one of you for your exceedingly great hospitality."

"Whilst listening to the last speaker, I thought vividly on especially what one said in reference to feeling as though you are back in America again. I cannot stress True Americanism too vividly, for according to MY conscious religious conviction and it transmitted universally, I believe True Americanism, when it is brought to fruition in the individual, it will be Real and True Evangelism; for True Evangelism gave Birth and gave Rise to Real Americanism. By this and under the Constitution in this country, according to the Constitution, you are privileged to serve GOD to the dictates of your own conscience, of which is the Birth of Real Americanism.
