(Mr. Kranzler's remarks are in part as follows:)
"There is no King in purple robes, there is no President, and there is no Ruler, that could satisfy me with a Public Acknowledgment as did FATHER DIVINE tonight, for one particular reason. The King in the purple robes, or the Ruler in his seat, could only speak for the one person and one mind, but in FATHER'S Public Acknowledgment of my work, HE Speaks for all of the minds that work as One Mind!
Just so long as there is breath in my mouth and life in my body, and so long as it meets with the approval of FATHER DIVINE and HIS Followers, I shall continue, and never cease, the work which I have tried to do in the past.
I have told those who frequent this particular Peace Mission, that money is no consideration with me, that after having seen with my own eyes, and heard with my own ears,--after having witnessed not only from the lips, in the words of testimony, but the actual Deeds,--after having seen what FATHER DIVINE has Done with one of the worst social problems in the City of Newark and elsewhere--after I have seen HIM take them from the gutters and from the curbs, after I have seen HIM take human wrecks and derelicts,--after I have seen HIM take the scum off the face of the Earth and make them respectable men and women,--after I have seen HIM take the worst type of criminals, and make them the best type of citizens,--after I have seen all of this, and in the face of Public statement by other people, I say this, and I trust that it goes to the four corners of the earth, that no matter how they may accept or reject, they must learn and they WILL learn, and they WILL absorb, that there is no Power or Force, no personal body they can point to, that has done, within the space of recent years that have come to my knowledge, the tremendous work, that FATHER DIVINE has brought into this face of the earth."
