After the beautiful, impressive parade leaving the railroad station and wending through the main streets of Philadelphia was disbanded, we made our way to the spacious Musical Fund Hall to await the serving of the Banquet. Among the many honored guests present was Mr. Weglein, assistant director of safety in the City of Philadelphia, and his niece. FATHER invited them into the office for a friendly visit before going upstairs and serving the Banquet. While there, FATHER had one of the secretaries read some of the letters under "Righteousness--Marches On!" in the latest issue of "The NEW DAY," that one and all might gain a clearer conception of HIS great Work and Mission among the children of men. After a few had been read, FATHER discontinued the reading and then arose and give this sweet and explicit Talk which greatly inspired and impressed all those present. Oh, Dean of the Universe, we Thank Thee!

PEACE, EVERYONE: I would just like to say in reference to the reading of a few letters under "Righteousness--Marches On!" in "The NEW DAY"-- would just like to say that MY versions concerning our daily activities, our work and our mission among this people, I have conveyed MY version in part in those few, brief letters. They are brief to ME although they may be apparently quite lengthy, because the average person does not wish to write so much in corresponding with another person. But as I AM just as interested in stressing and conveying MY conviction to one person as I AM to the whole nation, I AM obliged apparently, by MY highest intuition, to stress MY version vividly whensoever I write a letter, for that which I speak to one is not confined to that one person alone: it is applicable to each and every person who may be in that same state of consciousness. For this cause MY daily correspondence with the different people with whom I come in contact from a literary point of view, personally and otherwise, is bringing forth MY version in the hearts and lives of the children of men by contacting them scientifically according to the spirit and the life of humanity.
Then I feel somewhat loth to refrain from speaking at times, for by inspiration I AM aroused to put forth MY thoughts to the children of men that they might be partakers of them. As MY thoughts have emancipated millions of others and have made an individual clean government for us, the government of our souls within ourselves, we believe it is good for the whole universe. We sincerely believe that the time is not far away when this truth as exemplified by ME shall be universalized and legalized and established as real and as the only real important piece of legislation.
How glorious it is to produce that something of which was brought to the mind's eye of humanity through the Life and the Teaching of JESUS for it is it of which was spoken of by the prophet, saying,
'Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon HIS Shoulder. HE shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting FATHER and Prince of Peace!'
When this Gospel of Peace is inculcated and reincarnated in the hearts and lives of humanity universally it changes them characteristically and dispositionally; it causes them to be New Creatures in reality.
Now this is just a slight sketch of a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a grain of the mystery of this Law of which I AM stressing--the Law that was in CHRIST JESUS, transmitted from the ALMIGHTY to this people that they might be the reincarnators of this Law, that by this Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST JESUS, all law might be made a legal standard or document for all humanity in all government. When this is done, CHRIST, with the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST JESUS has truly come; maybe not according to the mortal versions of men but according to the spiritual, scientific interpretation of the mystery, the same as civilization has truly come, by the advanced light of understanding, as humanity advances in the light of this modern civilization. We advance it by bringing our thoughts, our bodies, our minds and affairs into subjection to the unfoldment of the higher truth concerning ourselves and the things with which we have to do.
For this cause we rejoice to present to the world something that will renovate mankind, something that will change humanity universally just as it changes these of MINE with whom I come in contact daily, for as with an individual so with a nation, and as with a nation so with all nations universally.
Oh, it is a glorious privilege to realize it is your privilege and every individual's privilege to produce this ideal, this principle, this standard that I have lifted, and bring it to fruition within you, and every living creature should become to be a new creature by putting off the old man, as the Apostle puts it,
... with all of his deeds, and putting on the NEW MAN, CHRIST JESUS, in Whom ye should live.
Not one of MY real Followers would smoke a cigarette! They are changed characteristically, they are changed nature-ly, they are changed mentally and they are changed spiritually and they are made NEW CREATURES in reality by the recognition of GOD'S Actual Presence. Such a recognition changes the very physical conditions and changes their minds, spirit, and changes their affairs, because they select and elect CHRIST as their King--not necessarily discerned as a person but as a principle--to control them and their affairs, to take the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST as Law and Order for them that they might be governed thereby. By so doing, we have a RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT.
Oh, it is a privilege to live in such a recognition and to build upon a foundation that is uncondemned, a foundation that cannot be actually criticized when it is lived, recognized and realized! Your own hearts and your own minds are clear, free from condemnation, for you know definitely you are not doing anything that is dishonest in the sight of GOD nor in the sight of men, therefore your hearts by faith, your minds and your affairs by faith, have been made clear and you are NEW CREATURES in reality and you carry in your life the spirit of honesty, competence and truth with which you contagionize others with whom you come in contact. It has long since been declared and I redeclare the same,
'Evil communications corrupt good morals; ill qualities are catching as well as diseases, and a man is known by the company he keeps.'
If your modest, moral and respectable children can be corrupted by the corrupt
politicians and corrupt society with which they come in contact, how about the
positive, the real and the true? If the negative is contagious and ill qualities
are catching, can you not see that the positive is equivalently true and as contagious
for you and to you as the negative has been? Aren't you glad!
Now we shall have a RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT and we shall have it universally as I have it on MY immediate Staff. It is a matter of impossibility for all creation that may be in the expression of antagonism or antagonistic, to hinder, for the Mouth of GOD has declared it and I redeclare the same:
'Lo! I AM with you always, even until the end!'

I stopped the reading just a moment ago because I do not wish to bore anyone with MY Words and with MY Message alone; I desire to let each and everyone be free for expression and be governed by his or her highest intuition, for, according to one of MY often rehearsed mottos, I stress for consideration
'In any sacred work where coercion begins the Work of GOD that moment ends. It is no longer the Work of GOD but the works of men!'
We do not want coercion to begin in our activities for we want all of our activities to be the Works of GOD instead of being the works of men! I thank you.
I will have to get to the field shortly, I cannot stay away. These words are too precious and the inspirations are too inspiring and too scientific to be retarded or to be withheld from the general public, for as with ME so can it be with all people.
